Special Features is an up & coming producer that has taken the EDM world by storm. In only a few months he has become a blazing hot topic, with his eye-popping remixes and innovative production style. When you’re listening to his tracks, the sound seems oh so familiar yet unique in a way that makes them addictive to listen to.

Eden Anderson is the man behind the madness and his mark on both the worldwide house scene will be nothing short remarkable, in due time. London is a city that is mostly noted for its bass scene, but with the emergence of Special Features, it seems clear that it’s just a breeding ground for crazy good talent.

To describe his sound in one word, “cheery” seems undeniably fitting. You can’t help but creak a smile during his songs; bright synths, electrifying tempo, and all around good vibes will do that to you. It’s no wonder why Dada Life selected him as the winner of their “Happy Violence” remix competition. Then we also shouldn’t be too surprised that he’s had two #1 hits on HypeM, he’s becoming a coveted gem amongst the EDM blogosphere, attained thousands of fans in the past few weeks… and all the while he’s made it seem easy. But let me tell you, it couldn’t be anymore difficult, hence why Special Features is so, well, (I’ve just got to be cliche here) special.

Happy Violence (Special Features Remix) – Dada Life

I’d like to think I can perfectly describe his style but in reality it’s sort of hard to put a finger on it. He hasn’t stuck to anyone’s MO and has cultivated aspects of both progressive and electro house, all into one. He’s dubbed it “Progressive/New School Electro House.” I’m excited to see whats next in store for his career; with a few dominate originals, “Special Features” will be who everybody is talking about and hearing.
