Bouncing Releases: Week of Dec 11

At the beginning of every week oodles of new singles, EPs, albums are released to digital music stores worldwide for fans to enjoy. There’s a whole lot of good stuff that gets lost in that pile of music and were here to make sure it doesn’t slip through your fingertips. Weekly, we’ll be throwing up brief overviews of our favorites along with links where to buy them, so you can get the tracks that fit your fancy.

Excision & Downlink, well known to collaborate with one another, have added in a third leg in this most recent single. Hailing from Tokyo, he’s making a splash with the injection of his rhythmic metallic sound into the song. This is pretty much like giant robots giving a hip-hop beatbox: “Bounce, Bounce.” Test it out, a head onto Beatport.

Before The Sun – Excision, Downlink, & Ajapai

The 2^nd massive summer single from Kaskade “Turn It Down” has finally received its remix treatment. This includes renditions from Le Castle Vania, Deniz Koyu, Carli, and my personal favorite, a bluesy bass version from Nause. These remixes are powerful, and have massive potential for playtime across the map, for all the styles it reaches. On Beatport & iTunes.

Another remix EP?! Yea, this week has been chalk-full of them, and this one just might be my favorite. Chuckie’s “Who Is Ready To Jump (The Remixes)” is a unique collaboration of big names and lesser-knowns, which is always more exciting then knowing all the remixers. You never know what in you’re in for, and in this case, everybody delivers… even if it’s not their traditional style (e.g. Dillon Francis’ dubstep mix). Exclusively at Beatport.

Who Is Ready To Jump (Dada Life Remix) – Chuckie

Arty & Mat Zo dropped their second big-time single together this week, and by popular demand from their fans, it’s appropriate titled “Mozart” (sum of their names). These two are startling in their producetion ability to make trance a genre everyone can love, especially you progressive house lovers out there.
