Bouncing Releases: Week of Jan 15

At the beginning of every week oodles of new singles, EPs, albums are released to digital music stores worldwide for fans to enjoy. There’s a whole lot of good stuff that gets lost in that pile of music and were here to make sure it doesn’t slip through your fingertips. Weekly, we’ll be throwing up brief overviews of our favorites along with links where to buy them, so you can get the tracks that fit your fancy.

Long overdue remix EP for Afrojack & R3hab’s “Prutataa” is out with three fierce remixes by Dada Life, Angger Dimas, and Darth & Vader. Each includes thrilling drops that will get this summer-time hit, at that highly-played level once again. Darth & Vader getting on this is huge for their career, and it is the best remix of the bunch. You can grab it and the rest over at Beatport.

Funkagenda adds more remixes to this week’s releases, with 3 artist renditions of his fiery track ‘Shinjuku.’ Millions Like Us blends in some heavy bass, Michael Woods calls on some progressive energy, and Alex Dimou spikes his remix with sharp, funky, trickling vibes. I had one of the tracks on yesterday’s Dubstep Delivery, but now that its finally out, feel like its worth mentioning again. 12th Planet’s free EP “The End Is Near!,” thanks to Scion A/V, is out today with 5 tracks solid tracks. Most of those tracks explore very intriguing & resultantly grimy collaborations, including one with Skrillex and Kill The Noise, which you can grab below. Burst (Feat. GMCFOSHO) – 12th Planet, Skrillex & Kill The Noise

New remix from Lazy Rich is out this week… it’s a electro charged version of Morgan Page’s hot track, “Body Work.” Lazy Rich gets better and improves on his sound with nearly every remix, this one is nothing short of just that. He incorporates some pristine wobbles and other shocking additions to his crsip sound, listen in below, and grab it on Beatport.

Swedish House Mafia Vs. Knife Party. The full release, including several edits, dub versions, and an insane Tommy Trash version is out now. “Antidote” is becoming more of a hit with each day, and this Tommy Trash version especially, will launch it even further. He’s added some creative melodies and spiked it with what can only be described as “Trash.” Grab it on iTunes.
