Introducing, DJ Slave
Standing out from the pack is a huge daily challenge facing aspiring producers in today’s ultra-competitive EDM scene. In dubstep especially, artists constantly prowl through the same packages of synths, mods, alterations. For that reason, creating a successful combination of those sounds is few and far between. One producer is very well on his to finding that, so I give you DJ Slave. David Timko (Slave) is a US bass music producer who makes tracks rock with a hard hitting attitude; that in your face kind of dubstep. He’s about to release his premiere single “Crush” on February 7th, and we have a extended preview of the track after the jump.

But first, here’s a taste of how he mixes. Hour long “Apocalypse Mix” is filled with some seriously heavy, excellent tracks. I’m thinking this was made with every intent of getting anyone psyched-up, about… anything, really. Seriously, I don’t think I’ve ever rocked the shopping cart quite like I did today, jamming to this.
