Nero’s single Reaching Out from their new album Welcome Reality is a new wave blast from the past in every way. The video is absolutely mesmerizing in how it pays homage to Miami Vice. Its resemblance to an 80s cop drama is uncanny and the visuals that accompany them look fabulous. It’s gritty, sexy and all around just fun to watch. Reaching Out will be re-released December 18th with remixes from Booka Shade, Fred Falke, and Wilkinson. They will be available for pre-order in the iTunes store December 11th. If you’re looking to gift an early Christmas present to yourself, this seems like a good place to start.
