Church Of Noise – The Bloody Beetroots Ft. Dennis Lyxzén

It’s been awhile since we’ve heard anything from the Death Crew 1977, but thank the rock gods Rifo is back and he’s got a new friend, Dennis Lyxzén, Swedish hardcore punker and frontman of Refused and The International Noise Conspiracy. They’re new project, “Church of Noise,” is a fullblown movement, it’s message is opaque and conspiracy-ridden, but generally it is believed that Rifo is out to push boundaries, the boundaries of hardcore and electro, the boundaries of dark imagery and positive messages, the boundaries between dreams and reality, but most of all they are trying to change what we originally thought electronic music was capable of. It seems as if they want to create a leather-jacketed, dark-jean subculture all rocking out to this howling rock and electronica collision and, if so, sign me up.
